About Us

NALCA is a non-profit organization registered in the State of California and Internal Revenue Services (IRS) of the USA established in December 2020 by the people in the United States from the Nuwakot district of Nepal. This organization includes all the people living in the United States of America from the Nuwakot-Nepal, with a firm belief in democracy, human rights, and press freedom to enhance the bilateral relationship through mutual partnership in strengthening social and cultural harmonies. With the motto of helping the NRN-Nuwakot, people in the Nuwakot district of Nepal, and the people who require help, the organization has been established to accumulate amicable people. The primary objective of the organization will be to save oneself and others by employing democratic practice. It has its bylaws, and it will be operated according to the bylaws. Besides helping the people at the time of disasters and calamities, we are here to help people, students, and other ethnic groups in poverty. The economy of the organization will be maintained from the membership fee, fundraising, contributions, and donations. The mainsites of helping will be the Nuwakot district of Nepal, with an area of 1121 km2 and about 288,478 population (according to Census 2011, needs to be updated) with two municipalities and ten rural municipalities. This is one of the historically important districts of seventy-seven districts of Nepal. Some of the historically significant and touristic places are the Seven Storeyedpalace, nine sacred religious sites at the top of hills, Devighat, Dupcheshwor, and Kakani.Even though many people in the district are independent with the primary professions of business, agriculture, industries, tourism, and civil service, almost 35% of the population are in poverty.They are in need of assistance for their health, education, and living index. This organization will target those people for their health, education, and skillful training program to fulfill their needs and improve life standard.



Preamble

We, all people living in the United States of America from the district Nuwakot-Nepal, having a firm belief in democracy, human rights, and press freedom as an initiative to enhancing the bilateral relationship through mutual partnership in strengthening social and cultural harmonies, this bylaws for Nuwakot America Contact Committee, as required by law, in order to govern the organization, has been proclaimed to adhere all the provisions in the fullest extent of its letters and spirit. Name of the Organization: Nuwakot America Samparka Samiti, America [In English: Nuwakot America Contact Committee, America (NACCA)].

Nuwakot America Samparka Samiti, America, is registered in Oakland, California, and any other States in the USA as required under prevailing laws.

In accordance with prevailing United States of America’s Laws, this organization functions in accordance with its bylaws. It works according to the law of the land in case of discrepancy with government laws.

Striving for an equitable society, we support and strengthen sustainable development through a democratic approach among the vulnerable population through:

Capacitating women, youth, children through sustainable development initiatives and programs.

Sharing knowledge and building capabilities, offering guidance and support to Community Based Organization (CBO) in sustainable and capacity development.

Create a network of like-minded people and organizations from different sectors and areas.



Goals/Objectives

  • To encourage and facilitate the mobilization of Nepali Americans and the American resources for supporting NRN-Nuwakot and the community in Nuwakot.
  • To encourage, facilitate and implement towards the overall development of Nuwakot.
  • To raise and donate financial resources nationally and internationally.
  • To support and assist in the humanitarian and relief work during the time of disaster and human suffering, including but not limited to any sort of natural calamity directly or in cooperation with other national and global organizations or individuals.
  • To preserve & promote Nepalese identity ,culture, language ,social & cultural values, norms & manner.
  • To assist with the local economy & environmental development.
